My name is Mario Graña Taborelli and I have been doing research on 16th Century Charcas for many years. I am also the Team Leader for Latin America at M-Brain. This blog/website will show my progress with the research I am working on at the moment as part of my PhD dissertation at the IMLR at the University of London, on early modern politics in Charcas through three expeditions to the Chiriguanaes by encomendero Martín de Almendras, viceroy don Francisco de Toledo and Potosi factor Juan Lozano Machuca.
